Personally, it’s normal for me to have songs stuck in my head, even if I haven’t heard them in a while…
I don’t know about you all but since I’m not fluent in the spanish language, spanish class seems like the best time for me to sing songs to myself. The words to the song “Even if I fall” happened to be the song of choice today. Now, this song got me thinking about a very momentous time in my life when I happened to fall….the infamous ice-skating incident.
The song says…
Even if I fall I will rise again
For you are my GOD,
Even if I fall you lift me up.
I realize this song has more to do with spiritual falling rather than physical and also that the song says that GOD will lift you up whereas in my case is was Robert and Jonathan (slight difference). I remember laying on the ice almost 4 months ago to the day and everybody leaning over my face as I’m crying my eyes out. At this poing Kelli says “We can’t just stand here, we have to do something!”
1) If you fall, you will be picked up. People you come into contact with on a daily basis will help with this. Read 1 Corinthians 1:3-7.
2) We can’t just stand here, we have to do something. Let’s get our tushies in gear.
